This is an exciting opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis, providing support and assistance to individuals in our supported housing service.

At Saha, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality housing services and support to individuals who are or have experienced homelessness. As a Relief Support Worker, you will work with our clients to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with clients and understand their needs and goals
  • Support clients in developing their skills and independence
  • Enhance clients' social integration through participation in social and leisure activities
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks and provide emotional support when needed

About You

We are looking for a Support Worker who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. You will need to be a confident communicator, able to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues alike. You will also need to have a positive attitude, a can-do approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, such as homeless individuals or those with mental health needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
