Assistant Teacher for Special Needs

We are a specialist residential education and care provider for around 70 secondary-aged boys with Autism Spectrum conditions. Our mission is to provide an environment where young people can thrive and reach their full potential.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant. You will work closely with students, teachers, and other professionals to provide support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with homework and assignments outside the classroom
- Support students with revision and access arrangements for exams
- Observe behavior and learning styles of individual students
To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of GCSE Level education, including Mathematics and English at Grade 4 (formerly C) or above. You should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills effective in a variety of settings and a range of people.
Working ConditionsThe salary for this role is £24,404 - £25,183 per annum. The working hours are 37.5 hours per week, 39 weeks term-time. A full driving license and eligibility to drive a school vehicle are desirable but not essential.
