Audit Manager - Financial Services Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team in Swindon. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely completion of audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of audit clients across various industries.
  • Ensure all audits are completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
  • Lead and mentor a team of auditors.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on audit and financial matters.
  • Work closely with other department managers to improve audit processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Contribute to the firm's business development activities.

Requirements:

  • A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance, ACA or ACCA.
  • Proven experience in managing audits and a team of auditors.
  • Excellent understanding of auditing standards and regulations.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
