About This Role

In this role, you will join a highly motivated, knowledgeable and innovative OT team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services within our low-secure service. You will work closely with the current OT team, supporting the development and implementation of occupational therapy plans, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing occupational therapy plans, tailored to individual patient needs, using evidence-based practices and approaches.
  • Providing education and training to patients, families and caregivers on relevant topics, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to manage their mental health effectively.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care planning and coordination of services.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
  • Proven experience of working within secure settings, preferably in mental health services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families and colleagues.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £30,381 - £36,480 per annum, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits, including access to the Blue Light Card and Health Service Discounts schemes, 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 33 days after 10 years' service, life cover, car lease scheme, cycle to work scheme, free parking and paid DBS application.
