Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commissioning and Strategy Manager to support the rough sleeping and Vulnerable Adults' Pathway workstreams carried out by the team.

This role is a 1-year fixed term post requiring the successful candidate to hit the ground running with demonstrable experience within Commissioning and project management.

The post holder will be responsible for line managing up to four team members as well as producing papers, briefing notes, and all relevant project documentation to ensure tight and controlled governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Lead Commissioner in the development and implementation of commissioning strategies for rough sleeping and Vulnerable Adults' services.
  • Manage a team of up to four staff members, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
  • Produce high-quality project documentation, including papers, briefing notes, and reports, to ensure effective governance and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for service improvement and implement changes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working within commissioning, particularly in relation to rough sleeping and supported housing services.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of line managing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
  • Ability to produce high-quality written content, including project documentation and reports.
