Job Opportunity: Head of Lettings

Harte Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced and accomplished Head of Lettings to lead our flagship lettings branch in Harrogate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned lettings professional to take on a challenging and rewarding role, driving business growth and shaping the future of our prestigious lettings company.

As Head of Lettings, you will be responsible for managing a talented team of lettings staff, overseeing sales, and fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for driving business growth through active lead generation and strategic market engagement.

The Package:

  • Competitive basic salary up to £55k plus OTE up to £70k
  • Monday to Friday, 09:00 17:30 + 1 in 3 Saturdays, 09:30 - 12:30
  • Free parking in Harrogate
  • 22 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
  • Guaranteed commission based on lettings branch income

The Role:

  • Lead and manage a team of lettings staff to deliver exceptional results
  • Drive business growth through strategic market engagement and lead generation
  • Oversee and conduct property valuations, providing expert guidance to clients
  • Manage your own workload with precision and attention to detail
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders

The Person:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the UK estate agency industry
  • Strong understanding of lettings regulations and legal requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets
  • Experience in leading and managing a team to deliver exceptional results
  • Relevant qualifications such as ARLA Propertymark membership or equivalent is desirable
