Leeds City College is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disability) and Complex Needs department. This part-time role offers a range of working hours, including 18 hours over 3 days per week and 30 hours over 5 days per week. Our team delivers a varied curriculum to meet the individual needs of our learners, and we are committed to enabling them to become as independent as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Support learners in line with the objectives of the curriculum and their EHCP outcomes
- Create resources to engage and develop learners
- Support principles and practical skills to help learners along their journey into adulthood
- Assess learner progress and provide feedback to support their development
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a nurturing and positive environment for learners
