Locum Consultant Orthopaedic and Oncology Surgeon

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Locum Consultant Orthopaedic and Oncology Surgeon to join our team at Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the provision of our comprehensive Musculoskeletal Oncology service.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the existing consultant orthopaedic oncological surgeons in daily triage of referrals, outpatients clinics, operating sessions, ward rounds, and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
- Participate in teaching and training activities, including viva teaching and regional teaching sessions.
- Engage in research activities, including developing and supervising research projects.

Requirements
- Registered with the GMC with a license to practice.
- Specialist Registration with the GMC in Trauma and Orthopaedics.
- Experience in Musculoskeletal Oncology and multi-disciplinary team meetings.
- Personal research experience and a track record of academic publication.
