Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our diverse SOC Operations team at Proactive Appointments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security incidents, managing SOC tools, and participating in shifts for 24-hour service coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using Microsoft Sentinel and ticket system.
- Participate in shifts for 24-hour service coverage, including overnight and weekend hours.
- Manage SOC tools, configurations, and updates.
- Collaborate with the Cyber Security Analyst Team to ensure effective incident response and management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Microsoft Sentinel operations and administration experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender XDR operations and administration.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with Graylog SIEM.
- Experience with Azure cloud services administration.
- Experience with administration of Windows client and server OS.
- Experience with administration of Linux OS.
- Understanding of Apple Mac OS.
- Good understanding of Networking and Networking Services.
- Good understanding of internet services, including DNS, SSL, Domains, IP, and routing.
- Cloudflare administration experience.
- Programming/scripting experience, including C#, Go, Python, and PowerShell.
- Knowledge of hybrid AAD/EntralD and on-premises AD.
- Experience with open-source tools outside standard tooling to gain insights.
