Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a dynamic learning environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lecture Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Spanish lessons to students across various age groups and abilities.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a curriculum that meets national standards and enhances students' language skills, cultural understanding, and global awareness.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess and evaluate student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback and support to help students improve their language proficiency and confidence.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Spanish, Spanish Literature, or a related field.
  • A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience teaching Spanish at secondary school level is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic and personal goals.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and generous holiday entitlement.
