Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and experienced Clinical Gastrointestinal Expert to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a Senior Clinical Healthcare Fellow, you will be responsible for participating in the general medicine rota and working closely with the Gastroenterology team. The post holder will also have the opportunity to develop their skills in gastrointestinal endoscopy and support doctors considering a career in gastroenterology in attaining Internal Medicine competencies.

You will be expected to communicate effectively with nursing and medical staff, as well as other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless patient management. You will also ensure close liaison with General Practitioners, Local Authority social services staff, health visitors, community nursing services, and other relevant services in relation to patients requiring ongoing care in the community.

Our hospitals include The Lister Hospital, New Queen Elizabeth II, Hertford County, and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 per annum, plus benefits, and a positive work-life balance.
