About the Role

We are seeking a talented Reliability Engineer to join our Integrated Project Team, delivering Supportability Engineering work packages.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to develop component to system level reliability models using Reliability Block Diagram Methodology on electronic, power, RF, digital and mechanical systems. The successful candidate will have experience of undertaking Failure Modes Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMEA/FMECA) and be able to read and understand schematics and Bill of Materials (BoM).

You will also have the ability to influence design by analysis of Reliability and Maintainability, with knowledge of monitoring circuits and how to detect failures that occur in Systems. Additionally, experience with Testability Analysis and Human Factors Integration (HFI) Management Planning and Case Reporting would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain reliability models for complex systems
  • Analyse and interpret test data to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design changes
  • Conduct Failure Modes Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMEA/FMECA) and develop mitigation strategies
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline
  • Industry experience in reliability engineering, preferably in a military or aerospace context
  • Knowledge of MS Office packages, PTC Windchill, IBM DOORS, OPUS10/SIMLOX, Matlab/Simulink, Power BI, CAMEO, JIRA, and Python
