About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Academic Support Professional to join our team at Academics. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students aged 8-18 with mental health and behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students' social, emotional, and academic development through tailored interventions.
  • Assist the class teacher in managing behaviour and providing a safe learning environment.
  • Work alongside experienced therapists and psychologists to implement therapeutic plans and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with children or vulnerable adults.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
