About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Expert to join our team at Tetra Tech. As an Architectural NZC Consultant, you will play a key role in helping us deliver climate-resistant, low-energy buildings and refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and deliver NZC advice and low-energy solutions in architectural and multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Model and report on Whole Life, Embodied, and Operational Carbon using tools such as LCA One Click Software and PassivHaus PHPP.
  • Explore different construction techniques and their impact on the environment, keeping up to date with industry standards and policies.
  • Help our Design Teams deliver energy-efficient buildings and refurbishments with a focus on airtight, highly insulated building envelopes and efficient building services.
About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a thorough knowledge of building construction and experience in technical detailing. A proven track record of working on low-energy buildings and/or retrofit projects is desirable, as are related qualifications and certification.

Requirements
  • Excellent numeracy and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of an established team.
  • Proficiency in the use of REVIT.
  • Experience of using One Click LCA and PassivHaus PHPP is desirable but not essential.
