We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate Scientific Editor to join our team at Cell Press. As an Associate Scientific Editor, you will play a critical role in shaping the content of our top open-access life sciences journal.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the peer review and publication process of our growing open-access journal
  • Collaborate with a team of scientific editors to develop and build exciting content across biology
  • Build effective working relationships with colleagues across Cell Press
  • Network with researchers at conferences and site visits

Requirements

  • Hold a PhD or other relevant doctoral degree in any discipline in biology
  • Have postdoctoral experience
  • Have broad scientific interests and curiosity; a passion for helping scientists publish their best work
  • Have excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and focus
