About the Role:
NHS Scotland is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Worker in the Surgical Receiving/Assessment Unit at University Hospital Crosshouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, safe, and effective care to patients under the direction of registered nursing staff.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver excellent patient care.
- Assist registered nursing staff in providing care and support to patients.
- Develop and maintain strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in healthcare.
Requirements:
- SVQ level 3 in healthcare or equivalent higher education qualification.
