About the Role

This exciting opportunity is available for a highly skilled Marine Claims Analyst to join our team in Suffolk County. With a hybrid work arrangement, you'll enjoy a great balance of remote and in-office work.

We're looking for an experienced professional to drive business growth at our London office. Your primary responsibility will be to manage national marine-related claims, liaising with brokers and overseeing the claims process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage national marine-related claims, liaising with brokers
  • Oversee claims process from start to finish for specialized claims
  • Troubleshoot settlements, fraud, subrogation, liens, and resolutions related to claims
  • Assist in implementing new policies and procedures for claims
  • Work independently under delegated authority for settlement claims
  • Ensure payment process and validation of claims adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Manage target budgets and minimize risk of financial loss to the company
  • Monitor claims investigations, reviewing insurance policies, and analyzing statistical data

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in marine, cargo, or freight forwarding
  • Strong written and verbal skills, with above-average computer skills
  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong adherence to new policies and procedures directed by senior management
  • Based in Suffolk area, with occasional in-office work one day per week

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 + bonus and benefits, based on industry standards and market conditions.
