Job Summary
MTrec Recruitment is seeking a skilled Assembly Production Specialist to join our team in the Spennymoor area. As a key member of our distribution and warehouse department, you will be responsible for manually loading vans with completed products, following picking lists, and cross-referencing against products prior to loading.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend daily toolbox talks with supervisors to ensure seamless operations
- Main role will be based within the distribution and warehouse department, requiring strong communication and teamwork skills
- Manually load vans with completed products, ensuring accurate and efficient loading
- Follow picking lists and cross-reference against products prior to loading, maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Work independently but under the supervisor's guidance, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility
- Measure materials prior to items being dispatched, using a tape measure to ensure products meet quality standards
- Hand assemble a variety of components, requiring attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Conduct quality inspections of a range of components, ensuring high-quality products
- Develop working knowledge of all production departments and understand the systems used, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and targets
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills, with a strong desire to take on additional responsibilities
- Confidence on the job, with a willingness to work overtime as required, including Saturday mornings and evenings
