Location: Kingston Upon Thames
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Support Assistant to join our team at a GOOD Ofsted Rated Primary School in Kingston. The successful candidate will work closely with a young child who has Autism, providing support in lessons and caring for their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to a child with Autism in a classroom setting
- Assist with lesson planning and implementation
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the child and their family
- Collaborate with the teaching staff to ensure the child's needs are met
Requirements:
- Over 6 weeks' recent experience in a childcare setting
- Current DBS check
- Reference information for the last 3 years
- UK eligibility to work
