Job Title: Psychological Therapist for Maternal Mental Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychological Therapist to join our team as a specialist in Maternal Mental Health in the Maternal Mental Health Clinic. The successful candidate will provide specialist psychological therapy services to women who have experienced loss or trauma during the perinatal period, improving their psychological health and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with perinatal and postnatal women with severe and complex mental health difficulties, as well as knowledge of policies and procedures relating to Child Protection. They will also be familiar with specialist mental health services and the services in the NHS where psychology and psychological therapies are commonly applied.

The salary for this position is estimated at £43,425 per annum, based on national averages for a Clinical Psychologist in the UK.

The role involves planning and organisation, responsibility for judgement and analysis, patient/client care, treatment and therapy, policy, service, research, innovation and improvement, supervision, leadership and management, and utilising theory, evidence-based literature and research to support evidence-based practice in individual work within the Maternal Mental Health Clinic.

The successful candidate will receive regular professional and clinical supervision in accordance with Trust policy and to Professional Practice Guidelines set out by the British Psychological Society or appropriate designated Professional Body.
