Teaching Opportunity at Blackburn College

We are seeking a Computing Lecturer to deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment at undergraduate level across a range of computing programmes within the School of Creative & Digital.

The successful candidate will have a strong awareness of contemporary developments within the Computing sector and relevant experience in game development, programming language, theory and application.

Responsibilities will include teaching on a range of courses including BTEC Levels 2 and 3 and L1-L2 IT Users, and taking responsibility for high levels of attendance and achievement on courses delivered.

Applicants must possess a relevant level 4 qualification in computing and ideally a PGCE.

All hourly paid part time staff receive pay the month following the month in which hours are worked, and holiday pay is accrued and paid three times per annum.
