Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Laboratory Specialist to join our team in Duxford, South of Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for quality assessment of various materials output from the manufacturing process and efficiently carry out allocated testing processes.

The ideal candidate will have reliable skills, good communication skills, basic IT knowledge, and the ability to understand and complete written instructions with accuracy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for quality assessment of a variety of materials output from the manufacturing process
  • To efficiently and effectively carry out the allocated testing processes
  • Maintain clear and accurate observations and results
Benefits

This is a six-month temporary to permanent assignment. After six months, permanent employees enjoy great benefits such as a generous pension scheme, annual bonus scheme, private medical and protection plans, and the ongoing opportunity to develop a long-term career within the company.

The salary for this role is estimated to be between £27,820 and £30,067 per annum, based on a 40-hour working week. This is equivalent to approximately £16.40 per hour.
