Austin Fraser is currently seeking a Head of Student Wellbeing and Safety to join our team in Greater Manchester.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective safeguarding strategies, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students. This role requires a high degree of autonomy and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff on safeguarding matters
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on safeguarding incidents
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory guidelines

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification or relevant experience
  • Numeracy and literacy skills (to level 2 or equivalent)
  • Proven track record in leading safeguarding initiatives
  • Exceptional knowledge of safeguarding legislation and guidance
  • Experience in managing staff and resources

Salary: £350 per day (negotiable)

Location: Greater Manchester
