This SEN Teaching Assistant role is based at a mainstream secondary school with a high percentage of students with SEND and SEMH needs.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Psychology Graduate to provide 1:1 support to pupils with SEN and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The successful candidate will be working with children aged between 11-16 and supporting them in achieving their academic potential.

The ideal candidate will have obtained at least a 2:1 degree classification and an impressive academic record at GCSE and A-Level. They should be a calm and patient individual who can demonstrate a passion for education and a commitment to helping all children succeed.

What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £85-95 per day, equating to £425-475 per week, paid on a weekly basis through PAYE.
  • An opportunity to gain valuable experience in the SEN and Mental Health field, working in a supportive team environment.
  • Long-term contract until July 2024, with opportunities for permanent contracts commencing August 2024.
