**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education, supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Scarborough.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with SEN students or relevant training in special education. A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is preferred. The role requires patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students overcome learning barriers.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, both in and outside the classroom.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored interventions to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Work closely with class teachers to monitor and track the progress of SEN students, adjusting support as needed.

**Salary and Benefits:**

The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly rate of £83-£96 per day, depending on experience. This role also offers professional development opportunities, contributing to the personal and academic success of students with special educational needs.
