Job Summary:

Ideal Personnel & Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Actuators Product Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing new and special electric actuators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new and special electric actuators to meet customer requirements
  • Provide technical support to customers, European subsidiaries, Japanese Technical Centre, and company headquarters
  • Investigate product claims, conduct product testing, and produce technical documentation
  • Identify, develop, and deliver training to internal stakeholders
  • Conduct market research, including trends and competitor activities
  • Support the development of new products in the European market and special electric actuators designs

Requirements:

  • Degree or HND qualification in Electronics, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of electrical motion control for industrial applications
  • General electrical engineering knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desirable:

  • Over 3 years of work experience in SolidWorks designing mechanical components or assemblies for industrial machinery
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical systems and test equipment
  • Experience in project planning and management
  • Technical product support experience
  • Experience in delivering technical training
  • European or Japanese language skills
