Job Title: Heating Engineer - Service & Breakdown

Talent Finder Jobs is seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team in Greater Manchester. As a Service & Breakdown Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faulty gas and electric central heating boilers and gas fires, as well as completing Landlords gas Safety Inspections.

About the Role:
  • Diagnose and repair faulty gas and electric central heating boilers and gas fires
  • Complete Landlords gas Safety Inspections working on Cookers, Fires & Boilers
  • Repair vented and unvented, direct and in-direct hot water systems, including economy 7 controls
  • Fault finding on domestic plumbing and heating systems, boilers, and controls
  • Servicing of a wide range of gas appliances, hobs, unit heaters, gas fires, boilers, etc.
  • Trace and repair water and gas leaks
  • Plumbing repairs and leaks on sanitary-ware and kitchens
  • Basic electrical repairs where necessary

Talent Finder Jobs is a professional Plumbing, Gas, and Electrical company with a high reputation of delivering excellent customer service to private homeowners, tenants, and landlords throughout Greater Manchester.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of domestic plumbing & heating experience, NVQ 2 & 3 plumbing desirable
  • Good patience, ambition, and initiative to correctly identify faults on your first visit to a property
  • Knowledge of boiler components, able to test thermistors and circuits within a boiler
  • Knowledge of Y plan & S plan systems, and ability to identify pipework correctly
  • Valid ACS certificates with 12+ months remaining, including CCN1, CKR1, CENWAT, HTR1 & CPA1
