Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with disabilities in a residential setting.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person-centered support, ensuring the children receive an excellent standard of care, and supporting them to live full and active lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical support to children and young people with disabilities
- Ensure the maintenance of support plans and other associated record keeping
- Work in a flexible manner, including morning, evening, weekend, sleep-in duty, night shifts, and bank holiday work
- Undertake shift leader duties as required after a period of experience within the home
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a professional approach, an understanding of the needs of people with disabilities, and preferably experience of working in a person-centered manner.
