Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Carbon Accounting Specialist to join our team as a Technical Lead for Carbon Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing carbon accounting services to our existing client base, developing new opportunities for growth, and driving the expansion of our life cycle assessment offering.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide carbon accounting services to existing clients, including the development of carbon management plans and the verification of emissions against various standards and methodologies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for growth, including the development of new clients and the expansion of existing relationships.
  • Drive the growth of our life cycle assessment offering, including the development of Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) services.
  • Continuously develop and improve our carbon accounting methodologies and tools, ensuring they remain aligned with industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in whole-life carbon management, including the development of carbon management plans and the verification of emissions against various standards and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with a range of approaches to carbon measurement and assessment, including life cycle assessment and carbon footprinting.
  • Strong understanding of carbon accounting methodologies, guidance documents, and tools, including OneClick LCA, Etool, and EC3.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
