Carbon Accounting - Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Carbon Accounting - Technical Lead to join our team at CA Tech Talent, a growing technical environment consultancy with a 25-year track record. The successful candidate will be based close to Exmoor in Somerset.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide carbon accounting services to our existing long-term client base, leveraging expertise in whole-life carbon management and infrastructure development.
  • Develop new opportunities for growth in the verification of emissions against various standards and methodologies, expanding our services across a range of industries and geographies.
  • Drive growth in our life cycle assessment offering and expand this to include Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) services, utilizing tools such as OneClick LCA, Etool, and EC3.
  • Continue to grow our services in the built environment across a range of infrastructure development projects, applying knowledge of carbon accounting methodologies and guidance documents.
Requirements:
  • Experience in whole-life carbon management, particularly in relation to infrastructure development, products, and processes.
  • Familiarity with various approaches to carbon measurement and assessment on projects, including PAS 2080:2016 and PAS2060.
  • Understanding and application of carbon accounting methodologies, as well as knowledge of life cycle assessment tools.
  • Experience working on a range of carbon and climate projects, with a strong track record of delivering results.
