We are seeking an experienced and passionate English teacher to join our team in a full time position. Located in Coventry, our school is renowned for its outstanding Ofsted rating and reputation in the area.


The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to KS3 and KS4 pupils, with the ability to teach KS5 being beneficial but not essential. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive salary and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Summary:



  • Teach English to KS3 & KS4 level
  • Assess, mark and plan lessons
  • Assess achievements of pupils
  • Provide progress reports and attend parents evenings & dept meetings

Requirements:



  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of teaching English to KS3 & KS4 level
  • Ability to teach KS5 (desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
