Job Title: Construction Project Manager (Structural Engineer)

Estimated Salary Range: £35,000 - £55,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct structural analysis and design for a variety of projects, including domestic buildings and hospital facilities, with project values up to £25 million.
  • Develop structural solutions using steel frames and reinforced concrete (RC) for buildings up to 3-5 storeys.
  • Perform hand calculations and utilize software such as Tedds and SCIA for structural analysis and design.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Chartered status or working towards chartered status (desirable but not essential).
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, particularly Tedds and SCIA.
  • Strong understanding of steel frame construction and reinforced concrete.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
