We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Ecologist - Bat Technical Specialist to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a key member of our Ecology team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality bat-related services to our clients.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in bat ecology, with a focus on technical expertise and project delivery. You will be responsible for leading bat-related projects, including surveys, licensing, and mitigation works. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing effective bat conservation strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead bat-related projects, including surveys, licensing, and mitigation works.
- Develop and implement effective bat conservation strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues from other teams to deliver high-quality projects.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and guidance in bat ecology.
Requirements:
- BER Registered Consultant (level 2 or 3) or Class 2 Bat Licensed Ecologist.
- Strong background in bat ecology, with a focus on technical expertise and project delivery.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Strong field experience and ambitions to develop technical skills.
