About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ecologist to join our team at Tetra Tech. As a Senior Ecologist, you will be responsible for providing expert ecological advice and guidance to clients across a range of sectors, including residential, defence, energy, government services, and transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality ecological advice and guidance to clients
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess ecological impacts
  • Develop and implement ecological mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with colleagues from across the business to deliver multi-disciplinary projects
  • Support the development of junior ecologists through training and mentoring

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong field skills and experience in ecological survey and assessment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
