Role: Payroll Manager
Contract Length: 12 Months
Location: Swindon (2-3 days per week), with flexibility to travel to Swindon as needed.
eTeam is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead our payroll activities, developing new systems in conjunction with our Government clients and ensuring their smooth implementation into business-as-usual services.
You will work closely with client Programme Teams and eTeam Operational & Functional teams to assist in developing the future of the payroll & pensions service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with eTeam and client Programme Managers to establish specific payroll deliverables / milestones
- Identifying gaps in existing business processes and amending as necessary
- Leading payroll activities involved in project delivery, including successful delivery of all planned end-to-end parallel run procedures
- Acting as operational SME for all pay-related activities, ensuring payroll best practice processes are embedded in solutions
- Engaging and liaising with pension providers to ensure new system implementations meet their specifications
- Ensuring senior managers and Executive team are fully appraised of specific payroll implementation progress
Requirements include:
- Payroll experience at managerial level
- Knowledge of working with SaaS solutions and experience of Payroll system implementation projects
- Knowledge of up-to-date payroll best practice
eTeam values building and maintaining effective relationships with senior internal/external stakeholders.
