About the Role

EdEx Education Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Psychology Graduate to join our team as an Aspiring Assistant Psychologist - Psychology Graduate. This role is perfect for a graduate who is looking to gain hands-on experience prior to further studies or becoming an Assistant Psychologist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with wide-ranging SEN needs (mild-moderate)
  • Work within KS1 and KS2 supporting students in their learning and day-to-day activities
  • Provide tailored support to students with SEN/Additional needs
  • Support the teacher throughout the day
  • Provide academic and emotional support for students
Requirements:
  • Childcare-related experience working with SEN students (Autism, Speech and Language, Behaviour, Physical Disabilities)
  • Ability to be patient, resilient, and calm in difficult situations
  • Genuine passion for teaching or a career within children
  • Graduate with a 1st Class or 2:1
