Job Title: Aspiring Educational Psychologist

We are seeking an Aspiring Educational Psychologist to join our team at EdEx Education Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, providing SEN support to students in a large primary school.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SEN and be able to work effectively as part of a large team. The role will involve supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, behavioral difficulties, mental health, dyslexia, low cognitive, and speech and language difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 and group support to students in and out of the classroom
  • Work with a range of SEN students, including those with autism, behavioral difficulties, mental health, dyslexia, low cognitive, and speech and language difficulties
  • Collaborate with the SEN team to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Advanced understanding of SEN
  • Good level of education, ideally a degree
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable, but not essential
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a large team
