Biomedical Scientist Team Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biomedical Scientist to join our team as a Team Manager. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Biomedical Scientists to deliver high-quality analytical services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of Biomedical Scientists to achieve operational goals and requirements.
- Provide professional leadership and line management for the team, including work planning, training, and performance management.
- Supervise and participate in the examination of clinical specimens, including interpretation of results and troubleshooting problems.
- Ensure accurate and timely laboratory reports, and maintain expertise and awareness of current technological and scientific developments.
- Monitor internal and external quality control results, and take appropriate action to identify and correct problems.
- Be responsible for effective stock management of reagents and consumables, and ordering and authorising payments for supplies and services.
- HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
- Completed IBMS Specialist Portfolio or equivalent.
- MSc or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Significant post-registration experience with demonstration of skill at specialist level.
