About Our Client

Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturing company undergoing a period of transformation, seeking top talent to join their procurement function.

  • Create, input, and recommend a Commodity Risk Management (CRM) plan for your categories
  • PPV ownership
  • Manage suppliers and ensure 100% OTIF using appropriate tools within the business
  • Review and draft supplier contracts to provide beneficial terms for the company
  • Draft and execute RFI's and RFQ's, finalize recommendations for sign-offs before implementation
  • Source new suppliers, de-list non-performing suppliers, and provide a clear plan for your suppliers using the vendor management process
  • Input into the annual budget process and identify risks & opportunities. Take action to minimize risks and optimize opportunities
  • Lead and develop 2 direct reports

The Successful Applicant

  • FMCG manufacturing experience - preferably food
  • Global sourcing experience including commodity-driven markets
  • Proven leadership and talent development skills
  • The ability to challenge suppliers constructively to ensure cost savings while building long-term relationships
  • Strong ER/MRP experience including Excel
  • A confident communicator with the ability to hit the ground running
