Senior Energy Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Energy Consultant to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our Sustainability and Energy Team, you will play a crucial role in driving forward our company's growing requirements to deliver energy audits and decarbonisation plans for our clients.
You will work closely with our energy consultants, building physics engineers, and sustainability consultants, as well as our Building Services Engineers, Building Surveyors, Cost Consultants, and other design and management disciplines.
We have adopted an agile working policy, offering a mix of home and office working. This allows you to maintain a healthy work-life balance and be more productive.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree or significant demonstrated experience in Building Services Engineering or relevant areas
- Detailed understanding and practical experience of the delivery of energy audits, building fabric improvements, carbon reduction plans, and building performance evaluations
- Experience in producing Heat Decarbonisation Plans and supporting Salix funding applications (Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme, Low Carbon Skills Fund)
- Experience in corporate Net Zero Carbon pathways
- Experience working with design teams and client stakeholders in discussing, encouraging, and promoting sustainable and low-carbon design across multiple sectors
- Experience in the use of energy efficiency and carbon reduction tools and software packages
It would be beneficial if you have:
- Membership, or working towards membership, with relevant industry bodies
- LCEA, ESOS, CIBSE Heat Networks, Energy Institute, or CPMV accreditation
- Good understanding of other strategic advisory services relating to carbon emissions
- Thermal modelling experience
- On-site experience
