Children's Community Nursing Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and directing care and interventions, as well as evaluating their effectiveness.
They will also be expected to delegate the delivery of care where appropriate, in line with NHS Wales' delegation framework and the NMC Code of Practice.
Additionally, the candidate will undertake clinical sessions in various clinical areas across Swansea Bay University Hospitals, performing highly specialized physical and clinical skills within their competencies.
They will also be responsible for documenting and reporting clearly to ensure accuracy, continuity of care, and enhance understanding by others.
The ideal candidate will support a culture that promotes person-centered, safe, and effective care, establishing and maintaining effective communication with patients and carers/relatives, and professionals across health and social services.
They will also be responsible for seeking appropriate advice/alerting agencies when there are any concerns regarding potential/actual risk to any patient or their dependents.

Job RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have substantial experience as a Registered Nurse, with evidence of Continued Professional Development.
Desirable qualifications include knowledge and understanding of the CNS role, as well as epilepsy training/course.
