Job Title: Financial Planner Assistant

Location: London

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum, plus bonus and benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paraplanner to join our team at MBF in London. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to our financial advisors in the development and implementation of financial plans for clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide research and analysis of financial products and market trends to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available for client recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed and comprehensive financial planning reports, ensuring clarity and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Engage with clients to gather necessary information and address queries related to financial plans.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards, ensuring all activities align with the relevant guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paraplanner within the financial services sector.
  • Hold your Diploma in Financial Planning and ideally be working towards Chartered status.
  • Proficient in using financial planning software and tools, with knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients.
  • Collaborative approach to working within a team environment.
  • Willingness to commit to the role of Paraplanner for up to 2 years with the opportunity for progression into advisory roles thereafter.
