About GLG Vets:

We are a well-established veterinary practice located in the heart of the stunning Lake District. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team on a locum basis.

Location & Working Pattern:

We are based in the picturesque Lake District, offering a perfect work-life balance with breathtaking scenery on your doorstep. Our ideal candidate will be available to work 2-5 days per week, with shifts from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing high-quality veterinary care to a variety of small animal patients
  • Performing consultations, diagnostics, and general surgical procedures as required
  • Delivering exceptional client care to build and maintain strong relationships with pet owners
  • Collaborating with a supportive team to ensure the best outcomes for patients

Requirements:

  • Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with RCVS registration
  • Proven experience in a similar role, confident in routine surgeries and consultations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
