We are currently seeking a dedicated Mental Health Teaching Assistant to join our SEN school in Amesbury.
About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.
- You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to identify the specific needs of each student and develop targeted strategies to support them.
- As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will focus on promoting the emotional well-being and resilience of students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of child development and learning principles.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to students with SEN in their learning and development.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop strategies that meet the unique needs of each student.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teaching team.
- A salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
