Head Veterinary Nurse Job Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Head Veterinary Nurse to join a leading 24-hour veterinary hospital in North East London.

This role is crucial for someone ready to lead and manage a highly skilled nursing team in a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will be responsible for overseeing nursing staff, conducting colleague inductions, managing rotas, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical care.

The role allows for hands-on involvement with patients while providing leadership and administrative support to the hospital team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Salary range from £39,000 to £43,500, depending on experience.
  • Full-time role with weekend on-call rotation (approximately 1 in 7).
  • Leadership role, working alongside senior hospital staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Combination of management responsibilities and clinical work with up to 3 administrative days per week.
