The successful candidate will be working with students who have a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the class teacher in the preparation and delivery of lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individual and group support to students with SEN
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson planning and preparation
  • Supporting students with their physical, emotional, and social development
  • Working closely with parents and carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for students

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months experience supporting SEN pupils
  • Valid DBS (or prepared to have one processed)
  • Energetic, dedicated, and flexible
  • Desirable requirements: SEN training, experience in a SEN school or mainstream school, experience supporting PMLD or ASD or EBD or MLD
