Job Description:
  • Provide social, emotional, and behavioural support to pupils, helping them overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the well-being of children, promoting a culture of care and respect.
  • Develop and implement pastoral strategies to enhance engagement and achievement, driving positive outcomes and improvements.
  • Act as a key point of contact for safeguarding and well-being concerns, ensuring swift and effective action is taken.
Salary:

This permanent, full-time role comes with a competitive salary of £40,000-£50,000 per annum, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This figure reflects the responsibilities and expectations of this pivotal role within our school community.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A deep understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and external partners.
  • A compassionate, proactive, and solution-focused approach, demonstrating a commitment to promoting inclusivity and well-being.
  • A strong track record of supporting vulnerable children, including those with SEND or additional needs.
