Transport Planner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Dynamite Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a Transport Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transportation of goods to specialist areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the transportation of goods to specialist areas
  • Plan and optimize routes to ensure efficient delivery
  • Schedule drivers' routes and ensure timely delivery
  • Liaise with clients to ensure their requests are met and updates are provided in case of any issues
  • Liaise with drivers to ensure the smooth delivery of goods within agreed time frames and manage any issues that arise
  • Perform administrative tasks to ensure accurate information
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Transport and Logistics
  • Experience in route planning (although training can be provided)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of organization and administration skills
  • Good geographical knowledge of Hampshire
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
