Job Title: Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal

EJ Legal Limited is seeking a dedicated Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal to join their IP disputes team.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with Partners and contribute to high-profile cases. The firm is celebrated for their exceptional IP work with high-profile individual and corporate clients, including notable entertainment properties and award-winning authors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with online brand protection monitoring and reporting, including preparing and issuing takedown notices.
  • Prepare materials for court hearings.
  • Manage document disclosure and review tasks.
  • Assist with the preparation of evidence and exhibits.
  • Provide support and attend court hearings, including trials.
  • Assist with the filing of pleadings and case-related documents throughout the litigation process.
  • Conduct research and prepare bundles for cases.
  • Compile cost schedules.
  • Assist with the preparation of bills.
  • Support business development and marketing efforts.
  • Assist in the preparation of precedents and templates.
  • Work alongside patent attorneys and litigators.
  • Perform general administrative tasks for the Group.
Requirements:
  • Law degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous Intellectual Property disputes/litigation experience is essential.
  • Knowledge or experience of patents and trademarks, and the various forums such as the High Court, the Court of Appeal, the EPO, and/or the UKIPO.
