About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Select Tech Group in Newbury. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion and develop your team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their full potential.
  • Support the delivery of our customer service standards, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our customers.
  • Manage your team's daily activities, ensuring the smooth operation of the store and effective use of resources.
  • Oversee the store's visual merchandising, ensuring it meets our high standards and showcases our products in the best possible light.
  • Manage customer complaints and returns, escalating issues to the relevant management level as needed.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of your team members.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of delivering results and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate staff at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
